A large statement of art is ok to hang in an empty space, smaller art pieces are best positioned above furniture, such as a Coffee table, sofa or fireplace. Do not be tempted to hang art on recently plastered or painted walls. Moisture is not a frames best friend and could easily damage the frame. High humidity is also an area of concern and should be avoided.

ApolloArt Top Tip
Think like a Museum. Remember art looks great at eye level. When you walk into a Museum or an art gallery, the art is positioned at eye level. Typically, the suggested method is to hang 1.4m from the floor to the centre of the artwork.
